People are welcome to attend the update in Truro on Thursday, at 7 p.m., at the Best Western Glengarry. Two policemen were injured following an attack in Weligama today, the police media unit said.According to the police, the two policemen were injured when they had attempted to control a clash between two groups. The police said that a sergeant and a sub inspector were injured in the attack and were taken to hospital.According to the police, sharp objects had been used during the clash resulting in the injuries suffered by the two policemen.
