first_imgThe PNGMMNA has decided that due to lack of nominations and the high costs facility hire, the second season will be postponed until 2017 where the season will be redeveloped to include a greater number of teams and the season and be played over a longer period.Since the nominations for season two competitions was opened in early July with the initiative of expanding the competition, the association could not register the required number of teams to participate until the closure of registrations on August 3.President of the PNGMMNA Adam Parker thanked the nominated teams for their interests and urge them to participate in the upcoming trials which will be held later this month for PNG first International Mixed and Men’s representative teams.“Apologies to those teams who were nominated for the season two challenge, however, due to the fact that we are unable to continue there will be trials for the selection of PNG Mixed Men’s Netabll representative team coming up,” Adam said.“We hope to make the 2017 season bigger, better and longer in competition wise.”If you are interested to take part in the trials, please contact PNGMMNA via email at [email protected] .Player registration will be conducted at the first trial date.last_img
